Purpose
If a security policy has been implemented, the current user or guest may not have permission to view the current content node, or other nodes referenced by the current page.
Use the wcm:ifUserCanView tag to display content only if the current user is permitted to view the specified node.
ExampleChecking whether user has permission to view the site's blog :
<wcm:ifUserCanView path="blog">
Don't forget to check the blog!
</wcm:ifUserCanView>
The above would create a link to edit the current content if the user is allowed to do so.
Description
The supported attributes are:
- path (optional) - defaults to the current page's node. URI path to the node, or a node instance
- space (optional) - defaults to the current space. Alias URI of the space of the node.
- node (optional) - node instance. Deprecated (use path)
